Insieme all’architetto e artista Giacomo Cossio, gli artisti dell’atelier hanno preso parte a YELLOW – workshop di design e falegnameria, sostenuto dal bando Inclusione e Conciliazione 2023 della Fondazione Cariparma – progettando e realizzando la propria sedia d’artista, attraversando tutte le tappe progettuali: ciascuno è giunto al prototipo della propria seduta attraverso la sensibilità personale, aiutandosi con le fasi del disegno tecnico e modellini, fino agli esecutivi in scala 1:1. L’intero processo e l’esito del laboratorio hanno permesso agli artisti di sperimentare il design di un oggetto e la sua relazione con lo spazio: partendo dalla bidimensionalità di un foglio di carta, sono riusciti a restituire visioni e interpretazioni, fino alla realizzazione concreta dell’oggetto.
Together with the architect and artist Giacomo Cossio, the artists of the atelier took part in YELLOW – a design and carpentry workshop, supported by the Inclusion and Conciliation 2023 call of the Cariparma Foundation – designing and creating their own artist’s chair, going through all the design stages: everyone arrived at the prototype of their own seat through personal sensitivity, helping themselves with the technical drawing and model phases, up to the 1:1 scale executive drawings.
The entire process and the outcome of the laboratory allowed the artists to experiment with the design of an object and its relationship with space: starting from the two-dimensionality of a sheet of paper, they managed to convey visions and interpretations, up to the concrete realization of the object.
