DISTRAZIONI nasce nel dicembre del 2020 quasi a chiudere un anno travagliato e a suggellare legami umani e patti sociali che ne sono naturalmente germogliati.
Il workshop “Lo spiazzo dei nostri giochi è pien di fango”
diretto da Simone Pellegrini con gli artisti di Artètipi, fu
bruscamente interrotto in febbraio dal lockdown.
L’importanza del lavoro svolto, sia come ricerca artistica
che come patrimonio per gli artisti di Artètipi, meritava un
“segno” importante che ne sottolineasse il valore e la forza
con la quale stiamo affrontando il momento difficile della
pandemia.
Inoltre, la ripresa delle attività dell’ Atelier nel post lockdown è stata possibile in tempi rapidi grazie alle collaborazioni con la Casa del Quartiere che ha permesso all’Atelier I Cachi
di uscire fuori ed occupare spazi nuovi.
Con questo catalogo e l’Installazione a Villa Ester, dunque,
abbiamo voluto valorizzare “in via permanente” tutto questo.
DISTRAZIONI was born in December 2020 as if to close a troubled year and to seal human bonds and social agreements that naturally came out of it.
The workshop “Lo spiazzo dei nostri giochi è pien di fango”
directed by Simone Pellegrini with the artists of Artètipi, was abruptly interrupted in February by the lockdown.
The importance of the work done, both as artistic research and as asset for Artètipi’s artists, deserved an important
“sign” that could underline its value and the strength with which we’re facing the difficult times of the pandemic.
Furthermore, the restart of the activities in Atèlier, in the post lockdown, was made possibla thanks to the collaborations with the Casa del Quartiere, that allowed Atelier I Cachi
to come out and take up new spaces.
With this catalogue and the Villa Ester exhibition, so,
we wanted to “permanently” give value to all this.
