In occasione di Insolito Festival 2022 e in dialogo con gli spazi teatrali, ARTETIPI allestisce due nicchie della Galleria San Ludovico con 13 tele dipinte dagli artisti dell’atelier i cachi durante il workshop curato dall’’artista Sbrama nel maggio 2022.
Sbrama ha incontrato 13 artisti dell’atelier Artétipi. L’altro si impone senza maschera, senza convenzioni, è spiazzante.
Il confronto esplode su tele di 4 metri su cui è dipinto il sipario di un sogno. Il segno di una mano tremante, la pennellata liberatoria, la sacra meticolosità si stagliano sulle tele, creando un passaggio ricco di soglie, la soglia dell’altro, che richiede di essere guardata. Sipario di una finzione, un teatro, una musica viene dall’aldilà.
Sbrama esordisce nel 1991 con l’opera MOTO TERE 01 nella mostra collettiva dell’asilo. L’opera in bianco e nero a penna raffigurava il terremoto che colpì la sua bisnonna siciliana da giovane. Da allora preferisce esprimersi con disegni e pitture, imparando in seguito a usare anche i colori. Negli ultimi dieci anni disegna per la musica, dipinge muri, paesaggi, realtà e irrealtà, aperta all’imprevedibilità della forma e del segno, incantata dalla fonte della visione pittorica.
On the occasion of Insolito Festival 2022 in collaboration with theatrical spaces, Artetipi sets two recesses of Galleria San Ludovico, with 13 canvass painted by atelier i cachi’s artists during the workshop curated by the artist Sbrama in May 2022.
Sbrama meets 13 artists of Atelier Artetipi. The other imposes itself without a mask, without conventions, it’s unsettling.
The meeting explodes on 4 meters canvas on which is painted the curtain of a dream. The sign of a trembling hand, the freeing brushstroke, the sacred meticulousness, are drawn on the canvass, creating a landscape rich in thresholds, the threshold of the other that demands to be looked at. Curtain of a fiction, a theatre in the ‘600 palace, a music coming from beyond.
Sbrama debuts in 1991 with the artwork MOTO TERE 01 in the collective exibition of the preschool. The piece in black and white, drawn with a pen, portraited the earthquake that affected her great grandmother from Sicily, as a girl. Since then, she prefers to express herself in drawings and paintings, learning, later on, to also use colours. In the last ten years, she draws for music, she paints walls, landscapes, reality and unreality, opened to the unpredictability of the form and of the sign, enchanted by the spring of the pictorial vision.
