Giacomo Gerboni, giovane artista parmigiano, propone un workshop multidisciplinare, con tema centrale l’identità
I nostri artisti hanno cominciato a lavorare con le parole, a scrivere canzoni e testi di riferimento. La nostra “tavola quadrata” ci ha presto portati in un’altra dimensione: alieni e pianeti sono diventati protagonisti delle nostre mattine.
Subito dopo ogni artista si è sporcato le mani lavorando con carta di giornali, colla vinilica e tempere. Le maschere da alieno sono pronte.
Nella fase tre, Atelier I Cachi si è trasformato in uno studio di registrazione: con il supporto di alcuni amici di Giacomo, gli artisti-alieni hanno potuto raccontare la loro storia e riprendere ad alcune curiose domande.
Tutto pronto per scendere nelle strade dell’Oltretorrente dove, seguiti da troupe cinematografica, i nostri alieni hanno girato un videoclip!
L’intero workshop è stato svolto con la collaborazione della Cooperativa I Girasoli.
Giacomo Gerboni, a young Parmigian artist, offers a workshop with Identity as a core theme.
Our artists started working with words, writing songs and lyrics for reference. Our “square table” soon brought us in a different dimension: aliens and planets became protagonists in our mornings.
Soon after, each artist had their hands in the dirt, working with newspapers, vynilic glue and tempera. The alien masks are ready.
In the third phase, Atelier I Cachi became a recording studio: with the support of some of Giacomo’s friends, the artists-aliens could tell their story and record some curious question.
All of this to go down in the streets of Oltretorrente where, followed by a film crew, our aliens shoot a videoclip!
The whole workshop has been carried out with the collaboration of Cooperativa I Girasoli.
Da dove nasce Invasione? E’ lo stesso Giacomo Gerboni a spiegarcelo:
“All’inizio del 2021 ARTETIPI mi ha chiesto di pensare ad un progetto che esplorasse le loro identità, come spazi vissuti, spazi aperti. Spazi che vorrebbero essere conosciuti e riconosciuti, per cercar di diventare punti culturali di riferimento vivo per il quartiere.
Ho proposto di realizzare un video clip sperimentale. Questo magico contenitore al suo interno custodisce la canzone, con le parole e la musica; la performance, con il ballo e la recitazione; l’animazione, con il disegno e le grafiche; l’ambientazione, con la moda, l’installazione spaziale e il design.
Dopo i primi giorni di lavoro su carta sono apparsi gli Alieni. Mi è sembrato subito un incontro molto interessante, un immaginario forte ma anche aperto a possibili interpretazioni allegoriche. Abbiamo quindi deciso di organizzare un’invasione aliena dell’Oltretorrente.
Un’invasione al contrario, in cui gli alieni arrivano per liberare, per rivelarsi, non per conquistare, ma per far dono della loro energia alternativa.
Abbiamo realizzato delle maschere di cartapesta per la metamorfosi.
Gli alieni portano in dono al quartiere e ai suoi abitanti una semplice coreografia che cercheremo di divulgare. Che effetto avrà sugli umani?”.
Where was Invasione born? The same Giacomo Gerboni explains it:
“At the beginning of 2021, ARTETIPI asked me to think about a project exploring their identities, like lived spaces, open spaces. Spaces that would like to be known and recognised, to try and become cultural spots of reference for the neighbourhood.
I offered to shoot an experimental videoclip. This magic container holds inside the song, with lyrics and music; the performance, with the dance and the acting; the animation, with the drawings and the graphics: the setting, with the fashion, the spatial setting and the design.
After the first days of work, the Aliens appeared. It immediately looked like a very interesting encounter, a strong imaginary, also open to possible allegoric interpretations. So we decided to organise an alien invasion of Oltretorrente. An invasion the other way around, where the aliens come to free, to reveal themselves, not to conquer, but to bring their alternative energy as a gift.
We built papier mache masks for the methamorphosis. The aliens brings a simple coreography as a gift for the neighbourhood and its inhabitants and we’ll try to divulge it. What will be its effect on humans?”
